Product Overview:
Cemimax DL55 is a high-performance cement and polymer-based levelling and smoothing compound, designed for experienced commercial contractors to smooth and level large commercial and retail areas. Once dry, it is suitable for the application of vinyl, carpet, timber, and tile floor finishes. Unlike standard hydration levellers, DL55 will harden and dry at temperatures as low as 10°C, making it highly versatile for internal applications.

Subfloor Preparation:
Ensure substrate is sound, dry, clean, and free of materials that may impair adhesion
Test substrate according to applicable standards and report deficiencies
Brush, abrade, grind, or shot-blast weak areas
Vacuum thoroughly to remove dust and loose materials
Apply a suitable Cemimax primer based on subfloor type and condition
Allow primers to dry thoroughly before application
 
Application Instructions:
Pour 4.4 litres of cold, clean water into a clean container. Sprinkle in the 20kg bag contents while stirring briskly to achieve a lump-free, thick-fluid consistency. Use a drill or mixer with a paddle attachment. Do not mix too thinly.
Pour the mixture onto the area to be levelled. Spread uniformly using a toothed rake or flat trowel. If required, use a particle roller to remove entrapped air, especially on primed surfaces.
Drying Time: At 20°C, approximately 24 hours. Sanding with 40–60 grit paper can improve surface quality and absorbency. Note: Poor airflow or lower temperatures may significantly extend drying times.
